Performance wise, the FrostFlow 240L currently tops our new Skylake cooling charts and it’s hard to argue against the fact that ID-COOLING have a good solid cooler with the FrostFlow 240L. Having room to upgrade to 4 fans is also good meaning that even the heaviest overclocks shouldn’t pose any problems; within the limits of conventional cooling methods of course. A custom water cooling loop done well will almost always beat an AIO/air cooler, but for £79.99, you’re probably not going to do any better than the ID-COOLING FrostFlow 240L AIO. With the FrostFlow being available in red, white and blue colours, it offers enough options to make it a solid purchase and for those looking for something that can handle their processor comfortably, the FrostFlow 240L is certainly recommended by us! It should also be noted that you can pick this cooler up in the states for around $80 which represents a bargain, especially when compared against rival Corsair offerings. The one thing you don’t get is a hugely desirable brand name… however performance > branding = winning!

Icekimo 240VGA is aimed for the user who overclocks his GPU, and maintain a low noise level. With its agressive look, the Icekimo 240VGA is perfect for the user with a windows in his chassis. The performance is awesome, and combined with a very low noise level, Icekimo 240VGA is a new player at the market, which is worth keeping an eye with Innovation/Technology - 4 There´s nothing new with Icekimo 240VGA. Watercooling for GPU is not new, but an AIO is a perfect solution for the user who don´t want to fiddle with a custom build loop. Bundle/Accessories - 3 The only thing missing in the box, is a 3-pin extension cable. The rest is in there, including heatsinks for the RAM. Design/Layout - 4 Icekimo 240VGA is all black and green. ID Cooling gives you green lights in both the cooler and the fans. The heat shield is made of anodized aluminum, and the radiator is a standard 240 mm also made of aluminum. The cooling head is massive copper, and the pump house is made out of plastic. All together this gives a piece of high quality hardware, which just feels right. Performance - 4 Our stock cooler didn't stand a chance against the Icekimo 240VGA. Heat -and noise wise, Icekimo 240VGA is hard to beat. Both at stock and overclocked, the Icekimo 240VGA delivered outstanding results.

Being the new kid on the block may cause some to lower their expectations, but ID-Cooling does not disappoint with the FrostFlow series of coolers. The cooler performed well under a mild overclock and the fan noise was not a concern. I am a big fan of red and black styling, but if you are not, then you do have a couple more options in the blue or white categories. Plus the "Comet Tail" LED on the pump is a nice feature. It adds a little motion to an otherwise static component. This feature, while not a performance feature, does make the FrostFlow stand out a little in a market that is becoming somewhat saturated with liquid coolers. The cooler comes with two 120mm PWM fans, but I did like the extra fans that were supplied for testing - the red LEDs made them stand out, and they are rather affordable at less than $10 each. While there was a slight improvement in cooling, it was not a significant amount. The two fans that come with the cooler are certainly adequate. But there is definitley a "cool" factor with a four-fan push / pull configuration. Just a reminder - the included fans with the AIO cooler are not LED fans. The FrostFlow 240L is certainly a capable cooler. As for pricing, the MSRP is $99.99 (on Newegg), and this is in line with other similar sized coolers. Az ID-COOLING ICEKIMO 204W egy megfogó külsővel ellátott processzorhűtő. A gyártó olyat lépett, melyet a nagyok még nem mertek meglépni. Szerencsére a folyadékhűtés tudása nem merül ki a külsőben, ami a hófehér színben, fehér LED világítással ellátott ventilátorokban és fehér háttérvilágítású pumpában nyilvánul meg. A készítők igyekeztek egy csendes hűtést létrehozni, ami az 1500 RPM-ben maximalizált ventilátorok használatával sikerült is. Ez természetesen nem jelenti azt, hogy hűtési teljesítményben egy visszafogott megoldásról lenne szó. Alapórajeles processzorok esetében zajtalanul tudunk hűteni, míg tuningot preferáló felhasználók is bátran használhatják a hűtőt. A mi tesztünkben a teljes harmónia az alaplap színe miatt nem jöhetett létre, de aki ASROCK H170 Pro4/Hyper , MSI Z170A MPOWER GAMING TITANIUM, ASUS Z170-PREMIUM, vagy hasonló alaplapokkal rendelkezik, még inkább javíthatja a számítógépe kinézetét, persze ha vannak ilyen jellegű igényei.
